It isn’t the mountains…
Muhammad Ali was quite possibly the greatest boxer to ever live, and I think that there are lessons to be learned from ANYONE who does something at a high level, whether it’s in your chosen field or not.
And Ali was special there is no doubt about that. From winning the Gold Medal in light heavyweight division at the 1960 Olympics to being the youngest boxer to unseat a reigning heavyweight champion at 22 years old, he captivated the world.
He fought the Fight of the Century against Joe Frazier and he won the Rumble in the Jungle against George Foreman. When all was said and done, Ali was more than a boxer.
He was more of a legend. More iconic.
Nothing is more iconic in the world of online marketing than affiliate marketing. It is an inexpensive, easy way to start making some money on the internet.
You don’t have to worry about having any experience and you don’t have to worry about customer support.
No fancy funnels to build and no giant time commitment. It can be learned somewhat easily and can have you earning great money fairly quickly.
In this section I want to talk with you about affiliate marketing, and there was one thing that Ali said, that always reminds me of doing affiliate marketing at a high level: “It isn’t the mountains ahead to climb that wear you out; it’s the pebble in your shoe.” - Muhammad Ali
When Ali said that, what I think he meant was that the devil is in the details. It’s the little things. Nothing could be truer when it comes to affiliate marketing.
If you can get a few little things right, then you can really do well in the world of affiliate marketing.
Over the next few pages I want to talk to you about getting some of those little things right, and becoming a more successful affiliate marketer.
We’ll end this one here for now though and I want you to really think about some of your goals for trying to make money on-line. The “why” is really important…
...and it is truly a motivational driver that can keep us moving forward even during the frustrating times.
